It’s been a long time since my last concert and what better way to come out of my concert dry spell than with one of my favorite bands that I had never seen live? I got to rock out to the Police in Tampa Wednesday night… and despite having tickets in the Third level in the back at the very top, we got to see them much closer in FLOOR seats thanks to an awesome St. Pete Times Forum employee who was giving away floor seats in exchange for existing tickets. We never found out why they were giving away some floor seats, but it sure was awesome sitting somewhere that was a good 4x more expensive than what we paid for our tickets. The Police played all of my favorite songs… some of the highlights were Sychnonicity II, Every Breath You Take, Invisible Sun and Wrapped Around Your Finger. Stewart Copeland freaking rocks, and Sting’s voice is stronger than ever… go see them if you can!!
