Five Strapping Rapscallions

Not only is Relient K’s flash animation endeavor about “Five Strapping Rapscallions” and a singing squirrel brilliant, but I’ve never seen a myspace page customized so well either. While Relient K is solely responsible for their flash animation; I believe that their profile was created by “Bandspaces.” I think a redesign of my myspace is in the very near future.

The Fountain

From the director of “Pi” and “Requiem For A Dream” (my fourth favorite movie of all time) comes “The Fountain” which looks absolutely splendid. It will probably be in my top ten fav movies, and I can tell just by the amazing trailer. I’m not even a fan of Hugh Jackman or Rachel Weisz. I first saw this trailer when I went to see “Lady In the Water” the other day, and there were a few more trailers worth mentioning as well; “The Prestige”, “The Reaping” (you can hear a great interview w/Hilary Swank about this movie on the 7/14 Relevant Magazine Podcast), “Children of Men”, and finally, “World Trade Center.”
